Duplex apartment with spectacular sea views!

Relax and enjoy the sea views from every room in this beautiful apartment! Or take a book to read on one of the 2 balconies… It is located on a quiet, cul-de-sac beach road, but an easy 10 minute walk into the town centre. From the balconies enjoy the uninterrupted, panoramic views over the medieval castle, harbour, and beautiful sunsets. (Regular dolphin sightings, too!) This is a modern, duplex apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large open plan living space downstairs. A balcony runs across the width of the apartment both upstairs and downstairs. This is our home-from-home, so you'll find the place stocked with everything from herbs and spices, to pasta and sauce, to tea and coffee, to toilet rolls and washing powder. There are board games and books for you to enjoy during your stay. Don't bother packing a hairdryer, cool bag or picnic blanket - all those are here, too! As of March 2023 we now also supply all towel and linen so there is no need for you to bring those items with you. We have one private parking space at the rear by the main entrance. The flat entrance is on the second floor, accessible via a wide, well-lit staircase. (please note that there is no lift). Set on a quiet, cul-de-sac beach road, just a 3 minute walk from the beach and estuary. Without leaving the flat, there's plenty to enjoy: sunsets over the sea, dolphin watching on calm days, and look out for the lifeboat practising most Sunday mornings! Enjoy a beautiful walk along the beach, then continue on to access the coastal path towards Aberaeron. You could choose to take a rural walk inland from the beach following the estuary, or go via the footpath up Pen Dinas Hill to enjoy 360 panoramic views. From the flat you also have easy access to the National Cycle Network paths (and we've even a shed to store your bikes in, whilst you visit). Paddle boarding and kayaking can be booked at the harbour. Add to this, that you're only a 10 minute walk via main road or through the harbour into Aberystwyth town centre - where a wide range of lovely independent cafes, delis, restaurants, bars and shops await (as well as large supermarkets for convenience if you prefer). Once you've explored the town, you could take the cliff railway up Constitution Hill and see the camera obscura. From there you could follow the coastal path towards Borth (and for the non-super-fit, after a pint you can get the train back to Aber from there, instead of walking!). If you're looking for a bit of culture, Aberystwyth Arts Centre is up the hill on the university campus. It offers a great programme or theatre, music, cinema and visual art - as well as cafe with fab views over the town. In the town centre is another independent cinema, or if you want to learn about local history visit Ceredigion museum. You could park your car on arrival and not need it again til you go home. A short car journey away, though, are the white sand beaches of Ynyslas and Borth, beautiful walks in Hafod estate, red kite feeding at Nant yr Arian and medieval history at Strata Florida Abbey - to name but a few. If coming by train, the station is a 10 minute walk away (or 3 minute, cheap taxi ride - there's a taxi rank outside the station). Important: We are good friends with our neighbours, so please only come and stay here if you are considerate of others (it's not a place for loud late nights, I'm afraid). No pets allowed, thank you.
